JMC Participates in NAA's Residential Property Management Careers Week
JMC & Co celebrated NAA's Residential Property Management Careers Week everyday last week. This weeklong celebration was created to promote greater awareness about all the different careers in the apartment industry. Our employees enjoyed the social media challenge as well as The JMC Draw on Apartment Onsite Teams Day.
The week started with a social media challenge! All photo submissions from the properties can be sent in for a chance to win an Amazon gift card for every member of the winning team! JMC & Co kicked off the celebrations with Maintenance Monday. Our properties snapped pictures of their maintenance teams to post on social media and tell followers what makes their maintenance team so special.
Thank a Teammate Tuesday was next up to bat! Our staff took photos of one of their teammates and told followers how this person brings value to the community.
Wednesday marked Apartment Onsite Teams Day. We celebrated the day with The JMC Draw in which all onsite staff members were entered into a raffle with prizes to recognize and celebrate our employees! Names were drawn every half hour for the chance to win prizes such as, Visa and Drizzly gift cards, compensation days, Ekosphear ANC Headphones, a JBL Flip 5 Speaker, a Cape Cod Beach Chair, a JMC cooler with a beach towel and margarita kit, Red Sox tickets, and a Breakaway Wireless Speaker.
Our communities posted to celebrate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on Thursday. The properties took photos of the staff and told followers how their team makes a DEI difference.
The week ended with posting Why I love My RPM Career on Friday. Employees took photos of themselves and wrote why they love their RPM careers!
TRIVIA: Shark Week is upon us! What is the name of the fishing boat in Jaws?
7/13 Trivia Answer: The popsicle. According to NPR, "Back in 1905, a San Francisco Bay Area [11-year-old] kid by the name of Frank Epperson accidentally invented the summertime treat. He had mixed some sugary soda powder with water and left it out overnight. It was a cold night, and the mixture froze.”
