Spring Managers Meeting

JMC held the annual Spring Managers Meeting in Quincy, MA that had a large focus on curb appeal at our communities as we prepare for the upcoming summer season. JMC takes great pride not only in the physical curb appeal of our properties with our meticulous landscaping, but also in digital curb appeal by constantly updating our websites and social media pages.   Gary Saltmarsh, Director of Maintenance Operations, started off the morning by speaking about spring clean ups as we prepare for spring flowers and landscaping plans for the summer months. JMC Employees Participate in MA Apartment Association's Maintenance Mania

2022 marked the return of Maintenance Mania! This event is a national program for maintenance technicians to compete against each other in several skill-based challenges. The program is presented by the National Apartment Association and sponsored by HD Supply. The event was topped off with a self-designed race car contest followed by a reception and an award ceremony. JMC & Co had 11 competitors and several staff members came to spectate and cheer on our JMC  team. JMC  felt the "need for speed" coming into this heated competition which brought us to our Top Gun inspired theme this year! All employees wore JMC   Top Gun shirts and aviator sunglasses and all competitors rocked their own set of customized dog tags to prepare for the "Danger Zone". Spring Safety and Grounds Meeting

The corporate office in Braintree held the annual Spring Safety and Grounds Meeting on Thursday, April 7th for our maintenance managers, property managers, portfolio directors, and regional managers. Gary Saltmarsh, Director of Maintenance Operations, prepared an enjoyable and informative day for our employees.  John M. Corcoran & Company prides itself in our curb appeal, especially when it comes to flowers! Our arborist, Marc Colburn, has created a fantastic rotation of flower selections to be planted starting in the Spring months and all the way into the Fall so our properties always look fresh and beautiful with color. Marc covered best practices when it comes to rotating these plant selections throughout the seasons to keep all of our communities in tip-top shape.
