2023: A Year in Review

2023 Development, Management, & Renovation Programs

2023 has marked a year of many achievements for JMC with several development projects, a new acquisition and partnership, assuming management for three properties, leasing up new communities, and the completion of many renovation programs. Although we reflect on accomplishments of the past year, JMC already looks forward to what's in the pipeline for 2024.

Development Details

Phase I of Union 346 has had a successful ongoing lease-up in 2023. The community also won the Platinum Hermes Award for website design. 

Phase II of Union 346 is located directly adjacent to Phase I with delivery in 2024. We look forward to seeing the additional apartments and amenity spaces in this urban community.

Lunenburg Central was completed in 2023 which is a 372,000 square foot Class-A High Bay distribution facility located in Lunenburg, MA.

Central Gateway was also completed in 2023 and serves as a 267,000 square foot Class-A High Bay Industrial Warehouse/Manufacturing Facility in Leicester, MA.  

Development already has two more projects in the works for 2024 with the redevelopment of a property in Chelsea, MA and the development of Weiss Farm in Stoneham, MA. 

Management Happenings

JMC recently acquired The Val with Stars which is a new partnership for JMC. JMC has also taken on management of this Billerica property.

JMC took over the management of Park Row West in 2023 which is located in Providence, RI and conveniently adjacent to another JMC property, Station Row.

The lease up of The Curtis and Phase II of Redbrook Apartments also got underway this year under JMC's management. 

Riveting Renovation Programs

Faxon Commons has undergone extensive renovations in two buildings known as 'The Tens'. Renovations include lobbies, corridors, laundry rooms, new apartment finishes, and the installation of package rooms in each building.

Munroe Place has continued with apartment finishes and completed major renovations to the lobby, corridors, and all community spaces in 2023.

The roof deck at 1943 DOT Ave was refurnished over the summer along with updates to the fitness center. The community also added multiwalls to select studio apartments for greater storage and organization.

Parkside on Adams also made some improvements with newly painted corridors, a refurnished roof deck, and updates to the fitness center.

Kimball Court, Andover Commons, Shrewsbury Commons, Beverly Commons, and Stone Run East have all began renovation programs in 2023 and look forward to continuing into 2024.
