Celebrating Excellence: Honoring 2024 Award Recipients at JMC

Members of JMC attended IREM's 2024 Holiday Celebration and Awards Night as well as the MAA President's and Achievements Awards dinner this week. Several employees and properties were nominated for awards at both events and we are proud to share our award recipients below!

Three JMC Property Managers were sworn in as ARMs at the IREM dinner. Congratulations Megan, Leah, and Stephanie!

Nancy Gaudet, Senior Vice President, was named Certified Property Manager (CPM) of the Year by IREM. This award was given to Nancy because she has, "... set the standard for excellence, leading with passion, integrity, and a commitment to helping others succeed..." throughout her 30 years in the industry. Nancy has focused on acquiring talent and has delivered exceptional results for owners and investors to promote growth and new opportunities for JMC.

Jazmin Colon, JMC's Affordable Housing Compliance Trainer, received IREM's DEI Individual Award for her contributions to the company's DEI mission. Jazmin has been an integral member of JMC's DEI team since inception. Jazmin received this award because she, "... has brought enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, and a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workspace" not only in her role as a trainer, but also as a dedicated member of DEI. "Her efforts have significantly advanced both the organization and the property management profession."

JMC had two properties nominated for an MAA Community of Excellence Award this year. The Commons at SouthField Highlands was a finalist for Large Community of the Year and West Broadway Homes was a finalist for Small Community of the Year. Staff members from both of these communities were able to attend the event and celebrate their efforts as finalists in these challenging categories.

We also have an additional special mention for Janet Hines of Hanover Legion who was named the Affordable Housing Professional of the Year by NEAHMA at its annual conference last month!


Congratulations to all JMC award recipients! Your efforts and dedication to the company and the property management industry are deserving of these distinguished awards and we are proud to have you as part of JMC. Your achievements are what sets JMC apart!
